Psychiatric Evaluation & Medication Management

Initial Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation

What to Expect at Your First Visit
Your first appointment will last about 60-90 minutes and can be held either online or in person. This time is dedicated to building a trusting relationship, where I listen to your story and understand you as a whole person—not just a list of symptoms.

During this visit, we’ll complete a comprehensive psychiatric assessment to review what you’ve been experiencing and begin mapping out a personalized plan for treatment.

I specialize in providing thorough psychiatric evaluations for women ages 18 and older, with a focus on understanding the root causes of challenges and creating care that supports both mind and body.

After the first meeting, what comes next?

Follow-up Visits

After your initial appointment, follow-up visits give us time to check in on how you’ve been doing since we last met. We’ll review what’s working well in your treatment plan and make adjustments where needed—this may include changes to medication, lab work, or holistic interventions.

These sessions are offered in different time frames to meet your needs:

  • 30-minute visits are more focused, typically for those already working with another therapist, where we primarily address medication and holistic interventions

  • 45- or 60-minute visits allow us to include talk therapy alongside medication and integrative support

Each treatment plan is personalized, so the frequency of follow-up visits may vary. Most patients are seen anywhere from weekly to every 2–3 months. Together, we’ll decide what schedule works best for your care.

Communication between appointments

Patients appreciate knowing they can reach out between visits if concerns or questions come up. For those taking medication, this extra support provides peace of mind, knowing any changes can be communicated and addressed promptly. I do my best to respond to emails and calls within 1–3 business days.
