Psychiatric & Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner

Hi, I’m Amanda.
I’m a dual-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of nursing experience. My approach to care is holistic—I don’t just focus on symptoms but look at the whole picture to find the root cause of what’s going on.

I know how overwhelming it feels when your concerns are brushed aside. Like many women, I was told that my fatigue, brain fog, rapid heartbeat, digestive issues, and insomnia were simply “anxiety and depression.” Deep down, I sensed there was more to the story. Through persistence and my own research, I uncovered the underlying causes—a connective tissue disorder (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome) and nutritional deficiencies. This experience has strengthened my commitment to truly listening to women, validating their struggles, and providing integrative care that looks beyond medication alone.

Today, I combine therapy, lifestyle support, nutrition, and evidence-based treatments with medication when needed. I’m especially passionate about supporting women through life’s many transitions—whether it’s early adulthood, motherhood, perimenopause, or beyond—and helping them find lasting relief and healing.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family in the Atlanta area. I grew up in Marietta, GA, and am now married with two teenagers. I love being outdoors, especially hiking and gardening. A good story or favorite playlist is often how I find balance at the end of the day.
